We currently use Royal Mail and UPS as our shipping providers. DHL services are also available upon request.
Shipping times
Shipping times can vary dramatically during different times of the year and are heavily influenced by worldwide events such as military conflicts or pandemics.
As a rough guide:
Royal Mail within the UK – 1 to 4 days
Royal Mail to international destinations – 7 to 14 days
UPS within the UK – 1-2 days from shipment
UPS to international destinations – 2-4 days
Please be aware that customs inspecting orders or holding orders for import charges due may be possible and could lead to delays.

SVIUK are trained and certified in the transport of Section II Lithium Ion Batteries by air in accordance with Section 1 1.6 of IATA DGRs.
Customs Declared Value
We are unable to declare a lower amount on shipments, or declare a product as something different. Please do not ask us to do this.
E-cigarette products are declared as ENDS – Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems. Eliquids as E-liquid.
Restricted Products
Some countries have restrictions, or sometimes a total ban on the import of vapor related products direct to consumers. In these cases we restrict the sale of items on a country wide basis.
For example, we cannot ship e-cigarette products to the following countries:

Indonesia
India

Qtar
Singapore
Thailand
United States
Shipping to EU Member states.
We have either received approval for cross border sales of e-cigarettes to retail customers or acknowledgement that no restrictions are in place for a number of member states. No restrictions are in place for our Business-to-Business customers. If you are a business customer wishing to order restricted products please contact us directly.
Some TPD cross border sales applications are in progress, the below list is subject to change.

It is the customers responsibility to research their own countries import law regarding restricted product. This list is to the best of our knowledge correct however SVIUK accept no responsibility or liability for stopped, seized or destroyed shipments including any administrative charges billed to the customer by their local governmental or customs agencies for importing prohibited goods.

Value Added Tax (VAT)
VAT is a tax for sales to residents and businesses in the United Kingdom.
VAT is already included in the price of products; this is removed for orders to the rest of the world at checkout, including the EU from the 1st of January 2021 due to Brexit.
We will not declare a lower value on the shipping invoice as this is illegal. Customs declarations are submitted electronically automatically by our order management system and reflect the true value and contents of every order.
It is important that you ensure the goods in your order can be legally imported to your home country.
Please check what your country’s threshold is for levying import charges prior to ordering.
What is VAT?
Value-added tax, known to everybody in the United Kingdom (UK) as VAT, is a type of consumption tax. It’s called this because it is a tax on how much of something you consume or use. The more you buy, the more you pay in taxation.
The VAT that you pay when buying online from LVE Vapor UK has already been included in the advertised price when appropriate. Most of our customers do not need to think about it.
VAT can fluctuate and there is no maximum limit that can be set by the government.
United Kingdom 20% VAT is not added to orders to customers outside of the UK
When we export your goods outside of the UK we will include an invoice that details the cost of the product and shipping. Your customs authority will assess whether any local or national sales tax should be applied and, if relevant, an import duty is payable along with any duty. You may also have to pay an administration fee.
For customers in the USA, the US Customs and Border Protection Service says:
“International Postal Service: Merchandise shipped through the international postal service is forwarded upon its arrival in the United States to one of U.S. Customs and Border Protection International Mail Branches for clearance. If the item is less than $650 in value and is not subject to a quota or is not a restricted or prohibited item, a CBP official will usually prepare the paperwork for importing it, assess the proper duty, and release it for delivery. This procedure is generally referred to as a mail entry.”
BREXIT Changes
Up until the 1st of January 2021 The UK was part of the European Union which meant we would include and collect VAT At the point of sale for EU customers on behalf of HMRC.
The UK’s exit from the EU means that we no longer collect VAT at checkout, so those of you that are regular customers will see our prices no longer include VAT.
However, and this is important. Customers in the EU that previously benefited from paying VAT at checkout will be liable for import VAT and or import duty at their countries import tax rate.
Please check with your local authority before ordering to confirm what taxes will be applied on import to your country.
